That being said I absolutely love those first three tiny panels, they are minimal, but clear and just flow so perfectly.

Ooohhhhh.... snap.
Love the lack of dialogue, it helps the direness of the last panel get set up.

Oh no! Quick Prince (fancy long name goes here)! Heal her with your magical unicorn tears!!! Or somethin'

Whoa that was unexpected.
That last panel kind of reminds me of those moments in a manga where the protagonist suddenly realizes that he/she is facing an opponent on a whole other level of skill than theirs.
Now snarlbear will have to be healed, then undergoe some type of of supernatural training from a superior master, and then return to save the world from evil....

I was also thinking that guy's speed and dexterity were superior to Snarlbear's brute strength.

Maybe her prismatic fleece will heal her?
Is that fleece the source of her power?
How did she get to be so strong to begin with?
Guess I will have to keep following to find out!

Wrong, pretty sure she's got some wounded pride as well there -- Snarl definitely doesn't like almost losing fights.

Man that transition from Snarl's lovely rainbow fight to...black and white...made it even more heartbreaking for me. O.O This is awful ahhhhhhh somebody heeellpp
